Somerville Family Law boutique launches new APP to report domestic violence and child abuse

Lyons & Associates, a woman-owned, Somerville, NJ-based family and divorce law firm including working with same sex couples, making a strong push to help reduce those troubling numbers.

Lyons & Associates just launched a new App including, among its many features, a child abuse and domestic violence reporting mechanism which will instantly connect users to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, to domestic violence shelters and programs across the State. The App is the first of its kind for the Apple iPhone and Android devices, and is available for free download via iTunes and Google Play.

“With a background deeply steeped in social work and now as a fervent family law advisor to families in need, I am so proud of our new tool to help families access much-needed resources in times of crisis and dire circumstances. To check out the new App, visit the App Store and key in “Lyonspc” which will bring up a menu screen featuring three options, including a direct dial phone number, for reporting domestic abuse; a divorce notes/tracker which is a helpful documentation tool during the time leading up to and during a divorce has been filed; and, a child support calculator which shows users how to calculate their lawful child support contributions, among other very helpful tools.
