Somerset Medical Opens Urgent Care Center Monday

Treatment for minor ailments and injuries now available in Hillsborough.

Somerset Medical Center will open a new Urgent Care Center on Route 206 Monday, providing walk-in family medical care seven days a week.

The center treats a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses in children and adults, such as:

  • Upper respiratory conditions, such as coughs, colds, flu, sore throat, allergies, ear infections, sinus infections and bronchitis
  • Nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, urinary tract infections, rashes, insect bites and headaches
  • Minor sprains, strains, cuts, fractures and neck pain

On-site X-ray and lab testing services are available.

The facility is staffed by physicians who are certified in emergency medicine, including physicians from Somerset Medical Center’s Emergency Department. The physicians work closely with patient’s primary care doctors to coordinate any follow-up care. Patients and their doctors will be able to electronically access their records and test results through Somerset Health Connect, a website portal that provides password-protected medical information.

Somerset Medical Center Urgent Care at Hillsborough is located at 751 Route 206 North, between Homestead Road and Raider Boulevard. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointments are necessary. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
