Move to Grow Business Positive So Far for Owner

Faithful Countertops & More moved to Hillsborough about three months ago.

After seven years in Saddle Brook, Faithful Countertops & More arrived to Hillsborough around three months ago. So far, the results have been very positive.

“So far, so good. We have a couple jobs, and I think we have more customers,” said Faithful Countertops & More owner Eric Tchorz.

That was the goal, coming out of an industry-crowded area into Hillsborough, where business is less competitive for the store, which specializes in granite countertops, marble countertops and more.

“There are so many companies in that area, so we moved here to grow our business. I think it’s a good move; I used to work over here, so I know a little bit about this area,” Tchorz said. “We specialize in granite countertops, marble countertops, all kinds of countertops and cabinets. We sell tile, also. There are people interested in buying everything from us, so we’re a one-stop shop for the people.”

Even though business has been positive so far in the earlygoing, Tchorz is pulling out all the stops to get the word out to anyone who may not yet know that Faithful Countertops & More has arrived to the borough.

“We have a salesman that goes every day on the road looking for more jobs,” Tchorz said. “We do online and newspaper advertising. We’ve started more advertising through our website and doing online advertising.”

In addition, although the store’s showroom is of modest size, it only accounts for a fraction of what Faithful Countertops & More offers its customers.

“We have a great selection,” Tchorz said. “Even though we don’t have a big showroom, we have a big warehouse in Edison where you have several thousand different colors you can go with, and it’s not far from here.”

Above all else, though, the most important thing offered at Faithful Countertops & More, according to Tchorz, might be the customer service.

“We want to grow, so I have to say that people can stop by and we’ll take their numbers. If the numbers are good, we can do it,” Tchorz said. “We are a great service; we care about all of our customers, and we have 100 percent customer satisfaction.”
