Credit Card Grant Applications Available

The grants are open to non-profit senior citizen and youth groups.

Applications for the grants award by the township's credit card program are available for non-profit senior and youth organizations.

The applications can be picked up at the Township Clerk's office at the municipal complex on South Branch Road, along with guidelines on completing the application.  The applications are also available on the township website, www.hillsboro-nj.org.

The application due date is April 19.  All grant funding comes from the credit card program.

Established in 2001 as the Hillsborough credit card program and taken over by Affinity Federal Credit Union in 2008, the program allows residents to sign up for a special credit card.  Under the current program, a portion of the usage fees on the card are donated back to youth, non-profit, and senior citizens groups in the township, through the Hillsborough Credit Card trust fund.  The township’s Credit Card Advisory Committee determines the organizations that will receive the funds.
