VIDEO: Flavorable Festival Benefits Theater Students

Hillsborough High School's first Gingerbread Festival draws more than 50 contestants.

What has four walls, a door and about 1,000 calories?

A gingerbread house! And while the structural confections may not make great abodes, they can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Sunday's first Gingerbread Festival at Hillsborough High School offered confectionary contractors the opportunity to build a house, with a chance to win a gift certificate, as well as enjoy students singing Christmas carols, a visit with Santa, and purchase ornaments or baked goods...all in a fundraiser to the school's Theatre Club.
