Time for Some Gambling for Charity
It's a fun way to help animals and try to furnish a new clinic
Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.
Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.
And this week, let's do some gambling, spend a little money—all in the name of animals and charity.

Saturday at 6 p.m. on Washington Avenue in Manville to raise money for furnishing a new spay-neuter clinic in Mercer County.
The event will begin with a buffet dinner and desserts, followed by casino game play that will include Black Jack, Craps, Poker and Roulette. Following the gambling, players can trade in the play money they have earned for raffle tickets for prizes that include a one-week condo stay through Interval International, Disney Hopper Passes and an X-Box Gaming System.

Tickets bought during pre-registration are $35, and include a buffet dinner, $25 in play money and gaming access. Tickets bought at the door are $40, and include only the buffet and gaming access.
