Taking on Summer Reading

It's summer. Your teen's required to read books for school. What do you do?

Summer break usually means fun for high school students—and not-always-so-fun summer reading lists that they'll need to complete by fall.

The  helps with that though, with a program aimed at getting teens to talk about one of the books they're required to read this summer. 

Here's what you need to know today:

  3. You Need to Know Where to Trek: at Lord Stirling Park’s Environmental Education Center. The walk cost $15 per parent-child pair and $8 per additional child. Call 908-766-2489 for further information.
  4. You Need to Know to Talk It Up: in the Conference Room. The book to be discussed is Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games, which is on the tenth grade required reading list.
