Safe Schools Presentation Open to All

A presentation at Hillsborough Middle School isn't just open to those attending the school.

Anti-bullying and anti-violence is the hot topic this year, with districts to take more steps to address in-school bullying.

A presentation at Hillsborough Middle School tonight is part of the district's efforts to promote safe schools. Rachel's Challenge, a program created in memory of Rachel Scott, the first victim in the Columbine High School shootings, aims to address how students treat others.

Since the program includes video and audio of Scott's life and of the Columbine shootings, so the district recommends parents accompany students who are in the seventh grade.
