Raider Wrestlers Heading to State Champs

This week, Patch honors three high athletes for their abilities on the mat.

  • Whiz Kid's Name: Joey DiCarlo, TJ Guidice, Mackey Price
  • Whiz Kid's Age: senior, senior, junior
  • Whiz Kid's School: Hillsborough High School
  • Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: DiCarlo, Guidice and Price will compete in the State Wrestling Championships in Atlantic City in March.  DiCarlo and Guidice reached the final round of the Region 5 Championship Feb. 26, while Price placed third at the competition
  • Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Squad leadership—all three students are wrestling team captains this year—practice, effort and pure skill on the mat.
