Primary Tuesday

Polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

It's June 7, and you know what that means—primary elections.

Normally, the elections establish who'll be running for which party on the November election ballot This year, however, Hillsborough's local race, State Senate and Assembly races are uncontested.

Locally, incumbent and current Mayor Gloria McCauley and Douglas Tomson filed as Republican candidates for Township Committee, while Aldo Martinez and John J. Reddan are on the ballot as Democratic candidates. All will run for two three-year seats on the Township Committee.
