Titanic Artifacts Featured in Library Program

Hillsborough resident and 'History's Detectives' guest Robert Martorana joins head of Titanic International Society for event.

Robert Martorana, a Hillsborough resident who has appeared on the PBS television program “History's Detectives," and Charles Haas, president of the Titanic International Society, will present "Titanic: The Story of a Great Ship" at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Hillsborough Public Library. 

The presentation will include actual artifacts from the ship, in addition to the detailed information of the two experts.

He Had a Dream: The Life & Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - Jan.15 at 7 p.m.

Join us as we learn some fun facts about animals that live in the jungle! 
Art Adventures: Color Mixing – Ages 4-6 – Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. 
Get those creative juices flowing and take your own masterpiece home! Wear play clothes because things can get messy! 
Neshanic Garden Club: Bird Feeders – Grades 2-5 – Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. 
Join the members of the Neshanic Garden Club and create something fun! 
Lego Buddies – Entering Grades 8-12 - Jan. 17 at 3:45 p.m. and Jan. 19 at 2:45 p.m. 
We are looking for reliable teen volunteers entering Grades 8-12 to provide assistance during our Lego Club programs. You must register for each individual session. Volunteers will earn community service hours for their attendance. Space is limited to 4 volunteers per session! 
Lego Club – Entering Grades 1-5 – Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. and Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. 
If you are into Legos, stop by and hang out with some other Lego-maniacs! Have fun building together. 
Movin’ Munchkins – Ages 3-6 – Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. 
Join us for a creative movement program for the child and parent/caregiver! **Please note: An SCLS Release/Waiver must be filled out and signed by the parent or the child cannot participate in this program. Forms are available at the Children's Desk.
Story and Songs - Ages 2-6 - Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. 
Join us for an interactive story and some musical activities.
