Hillsborough resident George Teeple, 69, claims police officers falsely arrested him while using excessive force in front of his Mountain View Road home in a lawsuit he filed against the township’s police department and arresting officers, according to mycentraljersey.com.
However, a statement released by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office about the 2012 incident claims it was Teeple and his two adult children who assaulted the two arresting officers after Teeple ignored orders to stay in his vehicle after being pulled over in front of this home and resisted arrest, according to mycentraljersey.com.
