Hillsborough Independence Day Firework Show Set For June 28

Mayor Doug Tomson announced at Tuesday’s meeting that the Hillsborough Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28th.

“We look forward each year to this great community event,” stated Mayor Doug Tomson during his announcement at Tuesday’s Township Committee meeting.

This years celebration will feature: 

  • A spectacular fireworks display 
  • The famous “food tent”
  • Inflatable rides 
  • DJ for musical entertainment
  • Volleyball, face painting and more

The famous “food tent” will include local delights for purchase; hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken, kettle corn and refreshments.

The festivities begin at 5pm at the Auten Road Intermediate School field. As in years past, shuttle busses will be available, beginning at 4:30p.m., from both the Hillsborough Middle School and High School parking lots. 

The rain date is Sunday, June 29th.
