High School Will Be Filled With Music This Week

Students to put talents on display.

Over the next week, you'll have a chance to hear some great music from local high school students who have been putting in work to bring you an enjoyable concert. You'll also be able to see a well known play in Hillsborough over the next seven days.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday-The Board of Education will be holding its meeting at the at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday-It's recycling day in Hillsborough. Residents are reminded to place materials at curbside either the night before or no later than 7 a.m. on your collection day.

Wednesday-Community members are invited to attend a recruitment and orientation training program for volunteers for the Somerset County Civilian Medical Reserve Corps from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy in Hillsborough.

Thursday-A combined high school and middle school jazz concert will be presented by students at at 7 p.m.

Friday-The Outstanding Women in Somerset County Awards Dinner will be held at the Imperia in Somerset at 6 p.m. The awards are presented in celebration of Women's History Month and all honorees are women who live in Somerset County. Advanced reservations are required, so make sure to check the event listing.

Saturday-A free children's clinic with instruction on  how to build a Fortune Teller–ask a question, shake, and look inside for the answer–will be held at 10 a.m. at Lowe's in Hillsborough.

Sunday-A production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Ric's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will be presented by the Somerset Valley Players at 2 p.m. It will also be shown at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
