The Alliance encourages those who supported President Obama’s re-election to continue to champion Democratic principles, including transparency in government, responsible fiscal and social policies, accountability of elected officials, community involvement and voter participation. Monthly meetings provide opportunities to meet like-minded neighbors, get involved in the community, participate in local governing, learn from interesting speakers/candidates, and engage in volunteer efforts. The Alliance is also continuing its series of “Meet and Greets” at members’ homes, political book club meetings, and other social events.
