Girl Scouts Collect Items for Animal Shelters

Old items have a second life at area animal shelters.

Old towels, blankets and kids’ crew socks have a new home that’s not in the garbage or landfill.

Junior Girl Scout Troop #60367 is collecting the items as part of the troop’s bronze awards. Items can be placed in drop-off bins at and at the .

The supplies will be donated to local animal shelters, including St. Hubert’s—which handles the township’s animal control services.
