Comedy comes to Maestro 206 on Saturday.

They say laughter is the best medicine, and the cure to a hectic week is right in town this Saturday.

Maestro 206 hosts a comedy night Saturday, featuring 94.5 PST's Mike Newman and Joe DeLong, who has opened for Jim Gaffigan and Judah Freelander.

Bryan Berner, Adrian Crook, Phil Hochman and Ben Mueller are also scheduled to perform.

There is a $10 cover and a two-drink minimum, but the restaurant does offer a dinner and show combo for $35.

Prospective students will learn about the admissions process, financial aid, career opportunities in technology and trades, and transfer opportunities after graduation from RVCC.

From 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Lowes Promeande Shopping Center in Hillsborough.
Why Go: 
To visit one of the premier family fun events in Somerset County. The carnival will feature spectacular rides, games, food, nightly entertainment and more.

Free admission. $25 wristbands for unlimited rides available on Friday.

Why Go: 
Because children ages 4 to 6 will enjoy an expedition of the world of plants and animals with an exploration of fields, forests, and ponds.

Friday Night Movie: The Conspirator
When/Where: 
At 7 p.m. on Friday at the  in Bridgewater. 
Why Go: 
To view a riveting thriller about a woman who would do anything to protect her family, and the man who risked everything to save her.

From 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at The Arc of Somerset County in Manville. 
Why Go: 
For children ages 3 to 12 with developmental disabilities and their families to enjoy an evening of fun activities in a safe and caring environment.

$15 for the first child, and $5 per sibling.


When/Where: 
From 9:30 a.m. to closing on Friday and Saturday at the  in Warren. 
Why Go: 
To drop in anytime and enjoy a variety of board games with library friends.

From 7:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at The Villagers Theatre in Somerset.
Why Go: 
Because each artist will showcase works inspired by the word "element." Paintings, photography, and print work will be available for purchase and a silent auction and a Friday night artist meet and greet will be included in the event. The works of Addison Vincent, Jake Petraitis, and Jennifer List will be showcased.
