Find All You Need at Fire Company's Flea Market

Warren's Washington Valley Volunteer Fire Co. flea market opens Sunday.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening.  It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This week opens the new season for the weekly flea markets at Warren's Washington Valley Volunteer Fire Co., at 146 Washington Valley Road. Stop by between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. and peruse the offerings from as many as 200 vendors.

The market continues through December, weather permitting, and when in full swing, you'll find antiques, clothing new and used, collectibles, crafts fresh produce and lots of fun.

The flea market also offers refreshments, food and clean rest room facilities.

It's been a mainstay for the fire company for nearly 40 years, and is a favorite on area flea market-frequenters' itineraries.
