February 56-Degree Days?

Warm weather hits, even though it's still winter.

What do you do when Mother Nature offers a mild day during a typically chilly month?

Get out and enjoy it, which is what many residents seemed to do yesterday.

A few friends managed bike rides through town—whether that’s Hillsborough or a neighboring one—because of the warm weather. Other residents in town could be seen running the town’s sidewalks (or roads), clad in shorts and light jackets rather than layers of running tights and gear. We didn’t get to any of the town’s parks or playgrounds, but we’re assuming the kids had a blast playing outdoors.
