Donate Blood, Help Bridgewater Firefighters

Take some time out to help Bridgewater firefighters this weekend.

We know, we know. Hillsborough Patch is all about Hillsborough and Hillsborough events.

But two blood drives in neighboring Bridgewater top this weekend's events. The drives, held at two of Bridgewater's fire companys, will help two ill firefighters in that town.

Though the drives are meant for the emergency services workers, those that donate will help other too. It's fairly common for blood banks to have lower-than-optimal blood stocks—and the demand is always high at the local hospitals that receive the blood.
