The Somerset County based food drive, Curbing Hunger, will mark their 20th Anniversary of serving the community with a celebratory dinner and art sale held on Saturday, May 10.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge – the founding sponsor of the Curbing Hunger food drive.
Tickets are $50 person and all proceeds collected that evening will go toward funding Curbing Hunger.
“We are excited to be celebrating 20 years of service to the community, collecting over 2.1 million pounds of food,” said Chuck Knill, board president of Curbing Hunger Inc. “We also are thrilled to be expanding our campaign this year not only to a larger geographical area but also to include fresh foods.”
The reservation deadline for the event is May 3.
