Be in the Know With Multiple Meetings

BOE, school association meetings lead off week.

It's school budget season, and the best way to be informed is to see the information discussed first-hand. The Board of Education's meeting is one of two school orientated events that lead off the next seven days.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday-The Hillsborough Board of Education will be holding its meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the .

Tuesday-The Auten Road Intermediate School Home and School Association will be holding a meeting at 7 p.m. at the school.

Wednesday- in Basking Ridge will be organizing a leisurely walk through the New Jersey Pine Barrens from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration and pre-payment is required, so check out the event listing soon.

Thursday-Soon-to-be brides are invited to attend a bridal party event at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge in partnership with the Knot. The event will take place form 6 to 9 p.m. and is free for brides. Registration is required, so be sure to check out the event listing soon.

Friday-A production of "Pippin," a Tony-award winning musical, is being held at the Villagers Theatre in Somerset at 8 p.m.

Saturday-A home energy workshop will take place at the from 2 to 4 p.m., where you can learn how to reduce home energy costs with information about current federal, state and county programs, and green energy alternatives.

Sunday-Ever wonder if certain critters that look scary really are? A discussion about how some animals may not be what they seem will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at in Basking Ridge.
