Adorable, Furry, & On Display This Weekend

Dog show sure to capture hearts of animal lovers.

Ever see the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on TV or in person? If you have, you know how lovable those pets are. If you haven't, we're sure you can imagine. Well, this week you can see the furry and adorable up close at a local event. 

You can also watch a number of high school performances that are sure to please.

1. Circuit Dog Show
Where/When: Ted Blum 4-H Center at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.
Why Go: Because they're cute, it's fun, and donations will be taken for the Somerset Animal Shelter during the event.
Pricing: Donations welcome

2. Phantom of the Opera
Where/When: ; Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m.; Sunday 1 p.m.
Why Go: Broadway comes to Hillsborough with this production of Andrew Lloyd Weber's classic musical by the school's cast.
Pricing: $10

3. Godspell
Where/When: Bernards High School Performing Arts Center; Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m.; Sunday, 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: The students have been working hard, and it's time for all of that work to pay off with a great performance.
Pricing: $15 for adults; $10 for seniors and children.

4. Wild Earth Tour
Where/When: ; Friday, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Because children ages 3-5 with their parents will be able to participate in an imaginary visit to points around the globe. Advanced payment and registration is required, so check the event's listing soon.
Pricing: $10 per pair; $5 for each additional child

5. Fish Dinner Buffet
Where/When: ; Friday, 4:30-8 p.m.
Why Go: Because the spread sounds incredible, and if you are going to give your money to someone for dinner, why not a local fire department?
Pricing: $11 for adults; $10 for Seniors; $9 for children 5-12; free for children 4-and-under.
