A Look at Scientific Illustrations at Library Event

Scientific Illustrator Mark Klingler's work will be presented.

Ever wonder how models and drawings of long-extinct creatures are developed? An upcoming presentation at Hillsborough Public Library will help make the complex art understandable, through the work of Carnegie-Mellon University Scientific Illustrator Mark Klingler.

The program, scheduled for 1 p.m. July 27, will demonstrate how Klingler reconstructs renditions of prehistoric animals using artistic techniques, as well as scientific research. Families with children ages 10 and up are welcome.

For the month of July, art work by Shaun Daley and photography by Jerry Spielman are on display.
