Hopewell’s M3 Studios Offers Afterschool Fitness Program for Kids

M3 Studios, Hopewell’s boutique personal training center, has announced its winter afterschool program for children ages 9-12.

GPT:KIDS is a fun, engaging and fast-paced group personal training program designed for pre-teen boys and girls. Led by trainer Lisa Saul, the program is designed to appeal to a child’s activity preferences, and will alternate brief bouts of high effort movement with periods of rest.

“Kids love Lisa!” said Mel Johnson, owner and lead trainer at M3.  “In her classes, they have fun and get fit. Her strength training with the Cross Fit Kids program, combined with her experience as a teacher at Pennington Montessori, adds depth to M3’s offerings.”

Johnson will donate 5% of the proceeds to the Hopewell Elementary School grade 5 fundraising effort.

Classes will begin on February 10 and run for 7 consecutive weeks on Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-4:45.  Parents have option to register their child for one day a week, or both days.

Johnson, a resident of Hopewell, opened M3 Studios in 2008 to provide an option to traditional fitness centers. M3 Studios is a personal training studio to help those of any age realize their fitness potential. With one-to-one personal training and small group classes not exceeding eight guests, M3 provides an atmosphere with outstanding amenities and no distractions. Located on Railroad Place in Hopewell Borough, just across from the historic railroad station, M3 offers flexible, “pay-as-you-go” options for most classes, with no membership fees or contracts.
