Hillsborough Resident Elected President of Statewide Association

Gregory Bonin, Branchburg Township administrator, has been elected president of the New Jersey Municipal Management Association (NJMMA).

Bonin, who lives in Hillsborough, was among four new NJMMA officers and seven executive board members sworn in at the NJMMA’s annual luncheon and awards ceremony in Atlantic City during the 98th annual League of Municipalities Conference last month.

 New officers for 2014 also include:

Vice President: Thomas Carroll of Wanaque, administrator, Borough of Wanaque

Treasurer: Robert Hoffmann of Franklin Lakes, administrator, Borough of Westwood

Secretary: Donna Vieiro of Lanoka Harbor, administrator, Township of Holmdel

Executive board:

            Eric Berry of Franklinville, administrator, Township of Mount Holly

            Theresa Casagrande of Spring Lake Heights, administrator, Borough of Fair Haven

            Joseph Manning of Maplewood, administrator, Township of Maplewood

            Alexander McDonald of Little Falls, assistant administrator, Township of Millburn

            Christopher Raths of Succasunna, manager, Township of Roxbury

            Matthew Watkins of Clifton, manager, City of Clifton

Tara Lovrich of North Arlington, administrator, Township of Manalapan, ex-officio, immediate past-president

Established more than 50 years ago, NJMMA is dedicated to advancing the professionalism, training, and development of public managers, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices in municipal management.  The organization has been instrumental in shaping legislation and policies that affect services to residents and businesses throughout New Jersey.
