AWARD WINNING WRITER TO TEACH MEMOIR WRITING

 “WRITE YOUR STORY” begins this Saturday, June 14th

The Center for Continuing Studies of Mercer County Community College is proud to have Barry M. Putt, Jr., award winning playwright and screenwriter, instructing this exciting course in memoir writing. If you have a story that’s been waiting to be told, this course and instructor will help you get started. As an instructor, Barry Putt brings a wealth of writing experience and education to this course. His plays have been performed not only here in New Jersey but also in California, Florida, Maine, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and British Columbia, Canada. He has served in many different writing capacities in the areas of film, television, corporate and travel video, radio theatre, theatre and publications. Barry received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in dramatic writing from NYU and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of American, The American Renaissance Theater Company and Passage Theatre’s Playwrights Lab.

WRITE YOUR STORY begins this Saturday, June 14, at 10:00am. It runs for four consecutive Saturdays, June 14 through July 12, from 10:00am until noon. The final class on July 12 will run a bit longer, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This memoir writing class will help you discover your individual voice. Everyone has a tale to tell. Now is the time to tell it!

Cost of the four week course is $96. Class meets at the Trenton campus located at North Broad and Academy Streets in Trenton.
