Township to Honor Middle School's Championship Softball Team
Township Committee, library book discussion group both meet tonight.
When the Township Committee meets tonight, committee members and residents will honor the Hillsborough Middle School girls softball team, winners of the 2013 Somerset County championship.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal courtroom, and will also include discussion of a resolution to endorse plans for a no-passing zone on Route 206, recommended by the Department of Transportation.
Also happening today will be a meeting of the Friends of the Library book discussion group, which will dissect Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor's autobiography, "My Beloved World: A Memoir."
The group also meets at 7:30 p.m.—down the hall from the courtroom in the library.
