Hillsborough Trail Run/Walk to Benefit Somerset County Homeless

Proceeds from the inaugural Peter J. Biondi Memorial Run/Walk will benefit the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program (SHIP).

A new race next month through the Sourland Mountain Preserve will honor a late District 16 legislator and benefit the Somerset County homeless population.

The inaugural Peter J. Biondi Memorial Run/Walk on Oct. 5 is a four-mile loop that  will benefit the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program (SHIP), according to organizers.

Biondi died in 2011 after serving in the NJ General Assembly for over a dozen years and called Hillsborough home for 35 years.

Sponsorship opportunities exist at many levels including a major sponsor for $500 and mile-marker sponsors for $350.

For further information, call Tom O’Leary, (908) 393-9545. Registration information is available on the run's website.
