THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.
By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, THE MUSIC MAN is family entertainment at its best.
Classic musical numbers include Till There Was You; Seventy-Six Trombones; Ya Got Trouble; Gary, Indiana; Pick a Little; Shipoopi and Goodnight My Someone.

Wow! Went to opening night last night, and this is a must see - standing ovation from the audience! The ladies sitting next to us have been to every show at Villagers for years, and said Music Man is the best one they've seen so far! Note the Villagers Theatre is at 475 Demott Lane in Somerset, not the "Village at Bridgewater".
