 lopment. The locals call this place &ldquo\;The Sourlands.&rdquo\; This 
 summer\, a new documentary titled SOURLANDS explores this stronghold of 
 green.\n&ldquo\;The wild world doesn&rsquo\;t exist in a vacuum\,&rdquo\
 ; says SOURLANDS director Jared Flesher\, an award-winning journalist. &
 ldquo\;What happens in our forests\, on our farms\, and in our climate a
 re all linked. In my film I look at this one green spot on the map\, and
  tell a story about how if we want to save it &mdash\; and green places 
 everywhere &mdash\; we need to start connecting the dots.&rdquo\;\nSOURL
 ANDS makes its World Premiere on June 27\, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Off-Bro
 adstreet Theatre in Hopewell\, NJ. Tickets cost $20\, with all proceeds 
 to benefit the Sourland Planning Council\, a local non-profit. Tickets c

 1 at 7 p.m.\, SOURLANDS makes its Film Festival Premiere at the Princeto
 n Public Library. The screening is a special event of the Princeton Envi

 Jared Flesher is an award-winning reporter\, photojournalist\, and docum
 entary filmmaker. His articles have been published by The New York Times
  Online\, The Wall Street Journal Online\, The Christian Science Monitor
 \, Grist\, The Huffington Post\, the Columbia Journalism Review\, and nu
 merous New Jersey newspapers and magazines. Jared's first documentary\, 
 The Farmer and the Horse\, was released in August 2010. It has aired mor
