The Sourland Spectacular is a morning of biking or hiking in the gorgeous Sourland Mountain forest, followed by a gourmet lunch of New Jersey's best pizza cooked on-site and a home-made brownie sundae.
Riders may choose routes of 37, 50 or 63 miles on paved roads. All routes involve some climbing as well as some exhilerating downhill runs.
Hikes will be conducted in the Sourland Mountain Preserve and will be led by knowlegable naturalists.
Proceeds will benefit the Sourland Planning Council, a non-profit organization working to protect the ecological integrity, historical resources and special character of the Sourland Mountain region.

More About Sourland Mountain Preserve
The 4,000 acre Sourland Mountain Preserve is county owned and administered by the Somerset County Park Commission. The Preserve provides passive recreational opportunities in an undisturbed natural setting.
The Preserve occupies a portion of the northeast "point" of the Sourland Region, which stretches southwest across Hillsborough and Montgomery Townships through southern Hunterdon and northern Mercer counties to the Delaware River.
It offers several recreational opportunities in an undisturbed natural setting, including hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, bouldering and horseback riding.
