Learn about using stream bugs as indicators of pollution in your waterways and learn how you can make a difference in your watershed!
Where? Duke Farms (80 US Highway 206 Hillsborough, NJ 08844)
When? Saturday May 12, 2012
12:00-3:00pm
Training will include how to sample for macro stream bugs, basic macroinvertebrate ID and sampling techniques to be conducted that day!
- Be prepared for the weather and to get dirty! Dress appropriately.
- Bring a snack, water, bug spray and a friend!
- Bring your own waders or rubber boots OR let us know if you need to borrow a pair!
This event is FREE to the public, however you must RSVP by May 5, 2012

More About Duke Farms
Duke Farms is a 2,700 acre farm formerly owned by tobacco and hydro-power magnate James Duke and his daughter Doris Duke. Through demonstrations, research and educational programs, Duke Farms hopes to inspire a new approach to conservation and sustainable living.
