Skyler Springs Leads Jr. Raider Varsity to 6th Straight Victory

Varsity Team (Grades 7-8)

The Jr. Raider Varsity team met the Vorhees Jr. Vikings on October 13th at Vorhees HS.  QB Skyler Springs had his best game of the season leading the Jr. Raider offense, which put up 190 yards on the ground and another 114 yards passing, as he completed 4 of 7 passes (one a 45-yard bomb for a TD to Luke Yakely).   He also completed two passes to Jackson Parham for 37 yards and another to Samari Springs for 32 yards.  Kyle Kauffman put up 2 TDs on the day as he carried the ball 7 times for 116 yards and added a 60-yard kick return for a TD, taking the 2nd half on-sides kick to the house.  Brandon Moore was for 4-6 kicking extra points on the day.  Defensively, the Jr. Vikings broke Hillsborough’s 3-game shutout streak in the first quarter with a long pass of their own and then added another TD in the 2nd quarter.  However, the Jr. Raider defense responded in the 2nd half by shutting down the Jr. Viking offense and holding them to zero points.  The defense was led by Brandon Moore (4 tackles), Brandon Nitschke (3), Rowen Mayes (2), Ryan Wheaton (2), Samari Springs (2), and Kyle Kauffman (2).   Hillsborough earned their sixth straight victory, defeating the Jr. Vikings by a score of 44-13.  MVP for the Jr. Raiders was Sklyer Springs.

The undefeated Hillsborough team takes on the 5-1 Bridgewater Jr. Panthers this Saturday (October 20th) at home at 7:30pm.

JV Team (Grades 5-6)

Behind a tremendous defensive effort, the Jr. Raiders JV team won their fourth game in a row on Saturday, October 13th, at Vorhees HS, by shutting out the previously 3-1 Voorhees Jr. Vikings by a score of 14-0. The Jr. Raiders completely bottled up the Jr. Vikes, holding them to just 14 yards rushing. The Big Maroon Wall was lead by Tommy Zdroik (4 tackles, 3 for loss, 4 assists, and a sack), Ryan Gemignani (4 tackles), and Jaden Bailey (3 tackles). Dylan Boczon and Chris Zickert took care of the Jr. Vikes air attack contributing an interception each.

Offensively, the Jr. Raiders continued a balanced and productive effort, scoring a touchdown in each half, and playing a great game of ball control. Dylan Boczon led the way with 100 yards from scrimmage (51 rushing, 49 receiving), Brian Reilly churned out 91 hard-fought yards, and Ryan Gemignani pounded the interior with 38 bruising yards. QB Matt Popadiuk had his best day passing with 59 well-timed yards.

Next up the Jr. Raiders JV team will face Bridgewater Jr. Panthers at Hillsborough High School on October 20th.

I think we're going to plump for http://www.outletcoachstoday.com the bigger one. It won't be the http://www.coachoutletod.com easiest to tow behind our push-bikes, http://www.coachs-outletcar.com particularly over Berlin's cobbles, but it will make http://www.coachoutletdp.com for swifter trips to interviews, http://www.coachoutletwo.com and it will save money for the licence-payer. http://www.coachfactoryoutletsp.com Berlin makes getting around http://www.coachfactoryoutletli.net on two wheels a pleasure.I have cycled in London http://www.coachfactoryoutletce.org but gave it up after too-many rants at a http://www.coachoutletonlinelc.net white van. But in Berlin, it is a joy. Firstly, the city is http://www.coachoutletonlinesc.com pretty flat, and secondly, there are endless cycle http://www.coachoutletonlinelsa.com tracks. Thirdly, everybody has a bike - so car-drivers are http://www.louisvuittonoutletct.com probably also cyclists in their other lives and so keep http://www.louisvuittonoutletti.org their eyes wide open. The test of whether cycling has really taken off in a city http://www.coachoutletrf.com is who does it. In New York, it is urban warriors, young men usually, who zip http://www.coachfactoryonlinebp.com aggressively between lanes. In London, it's a bit of that, but also, I suspect, http://www.coachoutletuser.net eco-zealots who are asserting their credentials - though the Boris bike scheme may be taking it more mainstream. In Berlin, it is the people.
