Most of you are used to reading blogs from me that have a little more meat and potatoes to them. (Pun intended–like my last blog on Restaurant Nicholas.) Never fear, those blogs will be here! However, one of my readers asked the burning question–when will the Hillsborough Fourth of July fireworks celebration take place this year? (Good question, I might add.)
So, in between me running around interviewing my next blog-star, and rescuing my daughter from falling out of trees, I followed up with Hillsborough Mayor Carl Suraci to see if a date for the summer celebration had been set.
“The event will be held Friday, June 29, with the rain date being Saturday, July 7. We are working out a few more details surrounding the event,” Mayor Suraci announced.
He also remarked that they will have a formal press release in the near future outlining more of the celebration details.
So dust off those backyard barbecues and get out the lawn chairs, because the fireworks are back!
Surprisingly, I can be short and sweet, and to the point, too!
