Its great that Homestead is open. The grade to the bridge is absurd. The speed is 45 mph. If you were to cross at that speed your car will be in the air. Anyone else agree?
If a police car were to travel across that bridge at a greater speed it could cause damage to the car as well as potential danger to other vehicles. The road should be repaired and graded properly this will sooner or later also become a liability for the town I am sure. Anyone else agree?

The "new" bridge on Hillsborough road is the same way. They replaced both bridges and did almost nothing to make them better. It's time people wake up and see this whole project for the boondoggle it is. If it is ever finished, it will cost us tax payers way more than it is worth.

I think they are fixing that today. There was an announcement about it. I know our local elected officials were not happy and complained about it. At least that is what I was told when I called.

Which bridges do you mean? The old railroad bridges that go over the tracks?

I couldn't agree more with the complaints. Were we the Hillsborough Building inspectors when this project was labeled "finished"?? They would NEVER have approved this. We have been in many discussions with others agreeing that the bumps on both the ascending and descending are terrible. Let's hope that the repair improves this situation but so too bad that they now have to tear up a new road already to repair something that should have been done right in the first place!!!

Slow down when you go over these narrow bridges, they're definitely not made for traveling at 45MPH......................common sense! Since these were "orphan" bridges, no more money than was absolutely necessary was spent in upgrading them.

Homestead S/B corrected, no need to go to Great Adventure as the ride is quite exilerating. Hillsboro is ok.
