Where We'll Be: Graduating and Searching for Burgers

Two long-awaited events are set for mid-week

It's a week for fulfilling long-awaited expectations, for both students and for residents hunting for a meal.

With graduation—and summer vacation—around the corner, it's a pretty big week for Hillsborough students, particularly the graduating class. For the town's burger-lovers, Five Guys Burgers and Fries is (finally) supposed to open.

Where will you find Patch? Here's our MO:

  • Monday: It’s the last Board of Education meeting of the school year. See you at 7:30 in Auten Road Intermediate School.
  • Tuesday: Did you local ice cream parlor Super Sundaes celebrates an anniversary this month? Cheryl Fenske explains how the business got its start in today’s On the Town column.
  • Wednesday: We believe it was the philospher Alice Cooper who said, "School’s Out For Summer". That’s the tune for today, because graduation’s tonight. Expect a photo gallery and story on this year’s senior class.
  • Thursday: Five Guys Burgers and Fries opens today, according to its Facebook. If we’re not out grabbing a burger, we might just be covering the opening.

Did we miss something? Email Eileen.Oldfield@patch.com to let me know about it.

About this column: Originally a sporadic column, Take Five, (take two?), highlights events happening in Hillsborough that day.
