Amwell Road Re-Opened After Accident
Downed pole and wires caused detour on town's western edge.
An accident that took down a utility pole closed a section of Amwell Road Friday evening, Hillsborough Police said.
A Nixle alert released Saturday at about 7 a.m. said the roadway had been reopened.
The road closure between Hockenbury and Woodfern roads was made shortly after 5 p.m. Police said wires remained down and the roadway was "closed until further notice," according to a Nixle alert released Friday at about 7 p.m.
