Hillsborough Library Programs include a primer on business planning.
If you are at the planning stage of starting a business or have already started your small business, plan to attend the How to Start a Business program, sponsored by the Service Corps of Retired Executives—SCORE—at Hillsborough Public Library.
Included are the basic elements of the Business Plan, a must for any business, including elements of the Financial and Marketing Plans. Leave with a good grasp of the next steps in establishing a successful business.
The program will be presented by Arnold Karvasarsky at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Registration is required for all library programs—but you can do it on the library's events page.

ESL Conversation Group – Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
Sign up for our mixed gender ESL Conversation Group sponsored by Somerset County Literacy Volunteers.
The program runs through May 20, 2013. Must know basic English.
Interpret Your Dreams – Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.
Prepare to enter the mysterious world of dreams, where the rules of reality do not apply. SuZen Ravenheart will assist you in making sense of your dreams and achieve a better understanding of them.

Tail Waggin’ Tutors – Grades K-4 ONLY – Feb. 4 at 4 p.m.
This is Therapy Dog International's Program: Children Reading to Dogs! Spend time reading to Xena, a TDI certified dog! Each registered child will get 10 special minutes practicing reading skills while Xena listens. Online registration is NOT available for this program – call or stop by the Children’s Desk. Please arrive early – if you are late for your time slot you will lose your spot!

Join us for a fun-filled meeting of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! Help us plan our upcoming teen programs and give input on what you'd like to see happen at the library while enjoying some tasty treats! Attendance at this program counts toward Community Service Hours!!
Movin’ Munchkins – Ages 3-6 – Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.
Join us for a creative movement program for the child and parent/caregiver! **Please note: An SCLS Release/Waiver must be filled out and signed by the parent or the child cannot participate in this program. Forms are available at the Children's Desk or online.
