An SUV severed a telephone pole before ending up in a ditch along Weston Road Wednesday night.

The crash closed the roadway between Sunnymead Road and the Manville border Wednesday night following the accident at about 9 p.m. It was not re-opened until Thursday morning, according to a Nixle alert released by the Hillsborough Police Department at about 6 a.m.

The vehicle struck a pole on the curve east of Sunnymead Road. There were no injuries in the accident.
