Woman Charged With Prostitution at Hillsborough Massage Parlor
Investigation followed citizens complaints about an acupuncture and massage parlor.
A 37-year-old Staten Island woman was charged Tuesday with engaging in prostitution at a Hillsborough massage and acupuncture parlor, according to a release from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
According to Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano, an undercover detective with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Taskforce entered the L and B Acupuncture and Massage Therapy, at 390 Amwell Road, Tuesday at about 2 p.m.
Once inside the business, Hui Ling Liu approached the detective and, during the meeting, allegedly propositioned a sexual act in exchange for money, Soriano said.
Additional detectives from the task force and from the Hillsborough Township Police Department then entered the business and arrested Liu, Soriano said.
She was released on her own recognizance following processing and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough Municipal Court.
The quality of life investigation, conducted by the Somerset Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force, followed several complaints by concerned township citizens, according to the prosecutor's office.

these places operate all over NJ. and something should be done cause it involves trafficking too. all should be fingerprinted and make sure they are in this country legally and are not being forced into this type of "work".

You're right..it's right next door to a doctors office.Everyone seems to know its not a massage spa but in reality its a pay for sex spa.For 100.00 you can have a full service session with your attendant(meaning have sex with the girl).On bulletin boards on the web, this spa tells of who is working when and what services the girls offer,and on the same web sites tells of the owener, who has two other same type of pay for sex spas, one in East Brunswick and one in Somerville.(The east Brunswick spa was recently busted but re-opened shortly for sex for pay services)..so why isn't anyone looking into this ?
