We have collected all the nominations, and now it's time to make your vote heard in our Readers' Choice 2012 competition to determine the best in and around Hillsborough.

Vote for your favorite—from pizza to burgers, and from veterinarians to dentists, and everything in between.

The voting will be open from July 23 through Aug. 17. The business that receives the most votes will be named the winner in each category. Winners will be announced on Aug. 24.

Walko Automotive, Harlingen Veterinary Clinic, Starbucks and Super Sundaes are awesome! Walko and Harlingen go out of their way for you! But hey, where's Smoothie King? And Skylands is now Fulton Bank (also fantastic).

My grandchildren went to MMOG and it is such a wonderful preschool. It has such a pleasant atmosphere, lovely teachers and an all around positive experience.
