Teen Tech Week Kickoff: PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST! - Grades 6-12
Celebrate Teen Tech Week this March by participating in our teen photography contest! Demonstrate your tech savvy by submitting 1 photo that has been manipulated using any photo editing app. Photos will be displayed in the library and voted upon by our patrons. Prizes will be awarded! The contest runs Friday, March 1 through Thursday, March 28. Visit the Teen Center at the Hillsborough Library for more details, or stop by or call the Children's Desk.

Summer Volunteer Program Sign-Ups Begin!
Looking for a way to earn some community service hours this summer? Love the library? Then be on the lookout for some of our exciting volunteer opportunities available for students entering Grades 8-12 in Fall 2013! Applications and information will be available in the Teen Center starting March 1! Applications will be due no later than Saturday, April 27!

Adult Services Programs from March 18 through March 23:

ESL Conversation Group – March 18 and March 25 at 7 p.m.
Sign up for our mixed gender ESL Conversation Group sponsored by Somerset County Literacy Volunteers.
The program runs through May 20, 2013. Must know basic English.
Gardening – March 23 at 2 p.m.
'Maximizing Your Vegetable Harvest' will show you how to double or even triple crop production -- a program presented by the Rutgers University Extension Service.
NJ History Comes Alive: Vintage Views New Jersey – March 26 at 7 p.m.
Walter Choroszewski presents vintage views of New Jersey in art & photography from engravings, paintings, prints and photographs found at museums and the Library of Congress. He discusses the art periods which influenced the art and gives biographical information about the artists. Walter also revisits some of the New Jersey locations found in the artworks and offers a comparative view through his own photography.
Best Books: Sci Fi/Weird Science – March 26 at 7 p.m.
Yvonne Selander, our Readers' Advisory specialist from the Bridgewater Branch, will present a book talk in the conference room about the 'Sci-Fi/Weird Science' genre.
Your Library is Open 24/7! – March 28 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Stop by the conference room between 3:30 and 5 p.m. - a librarian will be available to show you how to search the catalog, manage your account, place holds, get started borrowing e-books, music, access SCLS databases, and more! Bring your questions and get answers!

Stories for 4’s, 5’s & 6’s: Spring – March 25 at 1 p.m.
A fun family storytime! No registration required.
Toddler Time for 2’s and 3’s: Mice – March 26 at 10 a.m.
Introduce the pleasure of books to your child! Join us for stories, songs & more.
Rhyme Time for ages newborn to 24 months – March 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Build brainpower! Join us for 20 minutes of nursery rhyme fun!
Early Reader Book Club – Grades K-2 – March 26 at 4 p.m.
An exciting program for brand-new readers! At each program we will discuss the book, do some activities and make a craft. Please be sure to read the book before the program. Copies will be available at the Children's Desk. This program: “Amelia Bedelia Under Construction” by Herman Parish
Preschool Book Club – For Parents and Children Ages 3-5 – March 27 at 10 a.m.
Join us as we read books by Audrey and Don Wood and share book-related activities.

Teen Movie Night: Wreck it Ralph! – March 28 at 6 p.m.
It's Spring Break! Bring your friends to teen movie night and watch Wreck-It Ralph on the big screen! Get a sugar rush at our mix-and-match candy bar.
