Police: Driver Involved in Crash Had Open Container
Hillsborough police arrest multiple individuals on DWI charges.
A Neshanic Station resident was found with an open container following a crash on Beekman Lane, according to Hillsborough police.
Charles Diehl, 45, was arrested for DWI and having an open container in his vehicle on April 15 after police allegedly found the container while investigating the crash. Police say blood analysis is pending.
- Catherine Strain, 21, of Howell, was arrested on DWI charges on April 11 after police stopped her vehicle on Route 206. Strain, who was also charged with having a broken headlight, was released after being charged. Blood analysis is pending.
- Christopher Ferraro, 51, of Hillsborough, was arrested on an outstanding $500 warrant on April 26 while officers were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle on Sunnymead Road.
- Michael Cieploch, 20, of Manville, was charged with obstruction of justice on April 28 after he allegedly sped away from an officer trying to pull him over on Dukes Parkway. Cieploch was also charged with reckless driving and having a headlight out.
- Richardo Watson, 25, of Paterson, was arrested on a $455 outstanding Paterson warrant on Monday during a traffic stop on Route 206.
