Plan in advance, and visit one of the many v-day friendly stores in town. But before that, if your little one didn't have a chance to see the magic of Winnie the Pooh when his new moveie hit theaters, the library has you covered.

- You Need to Know About Movies: The Hillsborough Public Library hosts a movie for children ages three and older at 10 a.m. Wednesday. As with all library programs, you’ll need to register your tot for the showing—It’s the Winnie the Pooh movie—by calling the Children’s Desk at 908-369-2200, extension 14.
- You Need to Know It’s for the Birds: Kids in grades two to five can create a bird feeder at the Hillsborough Public Library, with the Neshanic Garden Club at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Register for the workshop by calling the Children’s Desk at 908-369-2200, extension 14.
- You Need to Know About YuGiOh: Fans of the card game can head to the Comics Café in Warren for a weekly Wednesday tournament that begins at 5:30 p.m. It’s $8 to enter.
- You Need to Know About the Zoning Board: John Lazorchak’s appeal regarding the demolition of a historic building continues during tonight’s Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal courtroom.
- You Need to Know About Advance Notice: Valentine’s Day isn’t for another month, but you’ll want to secure your reservations, chocolates, flowers, balloons and what have you early. Need some ideas?
