Belle Mead Animal Hospital has always taken great care of my pets. They have been very caring and if an animal ailment is out of their expertise area they make the best referrals that they can.

Belle Mead Animal Hospital. Their staff is not only expert in veterinary care, but also very compassionate. They make you feel as though they care as much for your pet as you do. We do Siberian Husky rescue, and they have treated each of our foster dogs as the most special dog in the entire world.

We take, and have always taken, all our dogs to Hopewell Vet in Pennington. They are a little far, but well worth it. They have saved several of our dogs and added years to their lives when other vets in the area suggested we put them down. We wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend them to everyone we know with animals.

Harlingen Veterinary Clinic!!! A cozy, clean hospital with an amazing compassionate staff who make your pet feel special. Continuing education is a priority there. They are always working on the next community project to support rescue groups.

Belle Mead Animal Hospital is the best!!! Caring Drs and staff and great hours. They are just great people. Dr. Martins did a dental on my 21 year old cat, and she is great now. She would have died because she could not eat. I thought she was going to not make it. Now she is 22 and owes her life to him. Dr. Somjen and Dr. Simon and Dr. Stephens and Dr. White are all great vets as well.

My brother is a Veterinarian in Massachussetts which makes it difficult for me to see him so I have used many vet offices here in the area. I've used Red Bank at Hillsborough, very good but expensive, Belle Mead, Nice but I didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling and Harlingen, which is where I currently take my animals. My vote is for Harlingen. All the doctors are very nice. they really care about my animals and they're willing to talk with my brother when I'm not sure what to do.

We have been going to Harlingen vet for many years, but I have been to other area vets for emergencies when I had to. In all, Dr Newman and her staff have cared for our five dogs in 18 years. This is the vet I am voting for as the best. The facility is clean and spacious. Waiting time is minimal. Staff is exceptional, especially Ann and
Brittany. They are very involved with the community, and actively support animal rescue. It goes without saying that the drs are wonderful in all ways, otherwise I could not vote for them. In addition, they are a great resource for education,
information, and offer dog grooming services. What more can you ask for?
We are lucky to have such a vet in our area.

I have also been to Dr. Martins at BelleMead Animal Hospital 5+ years ago for my guinea pig. He was great! His office staff was nice and efficient. But I think Harlingen's Office staff is over the top superior!

My dog got into the garbage and needed immediate help. Of course it was the end of the day, but Dr. Newman at Harlingen Veterinary Clinic, had me rush in anyway. The staff was so friendly, helpful and compassionate. I was so happy that they took the extra time to help us instead of sending us to an emergency hosptial. The next day I got a phone call from Dr. Newman to check on my dog. They really make you feel important and listen to what is going on. I would never go anywhere else!

Belle Mead Animal Hospital is the one for my 4 legged family. I don't even live in the area but am willing to drive from new brunswick just because of the great care my babies receive. The doctors and the staff are all very knowledgeable, considerate, respectful and caring.

A few months after my dog died, I contacted D. Newman at Harlingen Vet and told her that I was ready to adopt and wanted an older dog. Dr. Newman had a lot of advice and even pointed me to the right rescue. The whole experience went well and we now have our Gypsy thanks to her!!

Belle Mead Animal Hospital has by far, the most knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate staff of Vets and techs anywhere. They completely understand the unconditional love we have for our pets, and that alone, makes them unique in their field. Started going to Belle Mead Animal Hospital about 2 months ago after many years at another vet. In this short time I have found the whole staff from the girls at in the office to the techs and the doctors themselves to be loving and caring. Didn't take long for everyone there to know who I am and my two cats Oreo and Zeus. Dr. Simon is wonderful and did excellent surgery on my Oreo. Happly Oreo is doing great and our family is very happy to see Oreo back to her normal self. GREAT animal hospital.

Harlingen Vet is the best. They are so caring and loving and clean. When I had to put down my 22 year old cat, they were so compassionate. They took us to a room that was relaxing with a couch, low lighting, and soothing music. They allowed me to hold her the entire time and waitied until I was ready to say goodbye. I was not treatted like just another appointment. I continue to go there for my Dog and new cat. They are wonderful.

My favorite vet was Dr. Susan Fisher at Kingston. When she sold the practice and retired I took my two dogs to Harlingen. They are caring and knowledgeable.

Belle Mead Animal Hospital is the finest practice around. All my animals(13 at one point) have had the most gentle, expert, compassionate care of any vet I have ever been to. From the office staff to the techs to the doctors- all are helpful and knowledgable . Above all, Dr Martins expertise is beyond compare.

Harlingen Vet clinic-all Docs and staff - have gone beyond the call of "duty". 7 dogs over the years and one currently have received the ultimate care. Not so long ago my 3 dogs were seriously ill at the same time. Each dog had a different illness (just bad luck). The Dr.'s and staff stayed in touch 24 hours....even gave cell numbers!! We (dogs and I) could not have gotten through without their constant care. We ALL love our animals, but it is a bonus when you can love your Vet staff because they love and care for your animals too.! They ARE the best.

Belle mead animal hospital. I was referred there with my rescue pup for neutering and never went back to my original vet. The place and people are great.

My cat had to go through a life threatening operation because of the poor knowledge of the vets at Belle Mead animal hostpital. This was caused by the vets choice to treat his urinary tract crystals with pain killers and a calming collar. They also chose to do an X-ray before an ultrasound. X-rays are notoriously bad for picking up urinary tract crystals and stones. An ultrasound cost arround the same and gets much better results however Belle Mead will actively deter you from an ultrasound. I honestly believe some of the vets are very caring and good however until they get rid of the bad apples who just want money they certainly shouldn't be nominated for a best vet award. Plus they emailed all there patients to coment on this wall, which to me is begging for something you don't deserve.

I operate a ferret rescue and finding a reasonable ferret knowledgeable vet is like finding hens teeth but finding Dr. Kim Somjen at the Belle Meade Animal Hospital was the best thing I could have done for my little guys and I highly recommend both the hospital and her. she is the best!

Belle Mead Animal Hospital. I switched to them at the recommendation of the kennel where I board my cat and the difference between my previous vet (Hopewell Vet) and Belle Mead is night and day. I had had several dissatisfactory experiences at Hopewell with both the vet and the front office staff, and was especially unhappy after boarding my cat for a few days.

Belle Mead is marked by professionalism, thoughtful discussions of treatment options, compassion from vets, assistants, and front-office staff, good communication among the staff and with the customer, efficiency, and overall pleasantness of the experience. Aside from the competence of the care, it feels like a well-run and compatible group.

Harlingen Veterinary Clinic is great! So convenient. Doctors and staff are so helpful and compassionate. Wouldn't go anyplace else.

I trust Harlingen Veterinary Clinic with my "life" -- my two Briards (Scout (11) and Brooks (9). All of the vets and assistants at Harlingen are very caring and knowledgeable. My dogs have received excellent care whether getting immunizations, treating allergies or removing a tumor. I moved from TX to NJ and tried several vets prior to finding the best vet I have ever used, Dr Zydiak. Since that time, I have also used all of the other vets at Harlingen, including Dr Newman and Ripburger. I have found all of them to be equally terrific! They also have a wonderful groomer that my dogs adore. It is truly comforting when you move to a new area and find the "right" vet(s) along with such an efficient staff all in one package, so I vote Harlingen #1.

Belle Mead Animal Hospital Is the best of the best. Dr. Martins and his staff took such excellent care of my Muffin. When Muffin took a turn for the worse, Dr. Martins came to the vet in the middle of the night on his day off, as the end was near. He sat with me for a couple of hours and held my hand as I grieved the loss of my Muffin. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done and especially the compassion in the end.

Hands down Belle Mead animal hospital is the best. The entire staff is caring, loving and knowledgeable. They are patient and take the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. We always feel welcomed and never rushed like some other vets in the area. My dog runs to the front door anytime I take her there. She just loves everyone there. Thank you to the entire staff for being the best at what you do.

Harlingen is the worst, don't ever go there. They sure are friendly, but Dr. Newman is not help giving treatment. My senior cat, at age 15, had diarrhea. They did blood work and everything's normal, but he's still having diarrhea. Dr. Newman did NOT give any treatment, just told me to 'see how he is doing'. No instruction to change diet. No prescription for any medication. In few days, I was worried, and called, but Dr. is on vacation! Staff recommended that I try boiling chicken. I did. He got weaker. I was so worried I couldn't sleep and couldn't do anything else. In a couple of days, I called and requested to talk to another doctor (think it was Dr. Zydiac) and she said I can give him Immodium and anti-biotics. She wanted me to bring him back and weigh him, but said this should be no charge unless the visit takes too long. So she checked him, and charged me for office call still (she came in and felt him and weighed him, not even a 'long' office call)! I was furious, but at least she gave medication, and all I cared is if my cat gets better. The medication and blend diet finally stopped the diarrhea. But he was already too weak and passed away after two weeks. I hate Harlingen and Dr. Newman. Had she prescribed medication and blend diet when I first took him, my cat and I won't suffer and he could have lived much longer. His blood work turned out all normal after all! My heart still aches when I pass Harlingen, and I couldn't sleep at night thinking how uncaring they are!

Our family has been patients of harlingen veterinary clunic since we moved to belle mead in 1991. They have taken care of all of our animal from dogs to gerbils. The have helped us through minor scrapes,life threatening illnesses and euthanasia. They are a integral part of our family and treat our pets as if they are their iwn. Belle Mead Animal Hospital has gone way above other vets I've used in the past. Dr. Martins has come from his home in the middle of the night to care for one or the other of my dogs on at least 2 times that I remember off the top of my head. The people there are awsome. They are very knowledgeable and very helpful. I love the most of the people there and most importantly my dogs love going there. Their tails start wagging when I'm a block or so away. I know several people who go there and all of them think it is the best vet they've ever been to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She managed the complicated medical problems of our first dog, Maggie, with skill and she helped us through her end stage illness and death with great compassion. Absolutely, no question: Harlingen Vet!!! Just the best!!!

For decades we took all our pets to Hillsborough Vet. on Route 206 and we were always happy with the care our pets received, but after they were bought-out by Red Bank it became hard to get appointments and their prices went up.

About two-or-three years ago we switched over to Hopewell Vet after we adopted an old dog that was a patient of theirs. Aside from scheduled appointments they have "open hours" and we are satisfied with the care received.

Belle Mead Animal Hospital hands down! Dr. Simon is amazing with my pets, even my nervous dog, and she goes above and beyond standard care. I appreciate her depth of knowledge and her willingness to advocate the best care possible even if it means she has to send me to another doctor with more specific experience in the particular situation.

Dr. Simon is great at Belle Mead Animal Hospital. She has such a nice, gentle, calmness which was great for my very timid, nervous cat Beanie (and for me). She did a great job in updating me on every detail about Beanie's bladder stone removal surgery, recovery, lab results, etc. She really went above and beyond.
