Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else who knows about the area to nominate the best spots in Hillsborough Patch.
We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.
All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Starbucks is WAY overpriced. Coffee from Dunkin Donuts, Wawa or QuickCheck is just as good and a lot more reasonable.

I'm a Dunkin' Donuts addict, personally. Coffee is good, they always accomodate my requests to customize it (I'm not that fancy of a coffee drinker, though! Give me caramel or vanilla flavoring, Sweet n' Lows, and some skim milk and I am happy), and, my #1 reason...with a little one in tow, the drive through lane is a LIFESAVER when Momma needs her caffeine kick and doesn't feel like chasing a toddler through a parking lot.

Starbucks over-roasts their beans to the point of bitterness. I find most of their coffees far too acidic as well. In blind taste tests, Dunkin regularly beats Starbucks, although I'm not a big fan of their blend either- not very complex or robust. The best place for coffee in Hillsborough is my house- but none of you are invited!
