Nominate the Best Pharmacy

Let us know the best pharmacy so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

What's the best pharmacy?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else who knows to nominate the best spots in Hillsborough Patch.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

The CVS pharmacists try to know every repeat customer by name and try to fill prescription orders as quickly as possible, especially if you are waiting for them. They always ask if a prescription for a child should be flavored to make it more palatable for them, too.

In a dark ally with a crazed out drug dealer, would be better than Wallgreens.

Walgreens is my choice. I am greeted every time I walk in, the Photo dept folks know me by name and phone number, If you need help everyone is willing to either do it or call someone in the know for you. Since Hillsborough Drugs went over there too, that would be my choice for a 30 day supply But I have to mail away to Medco for all the rest of my drugs. I've had big problems in the past with CVS and Caremark.

Raritan Apothecary on Main Street in Raritan is 10 minutes from my house in the Flagtown section of Hillsborough. It is FAMILY owned not corporate owned and that makes an incredible difference to my family. Michelle and Michael really care about each one of their clients - they even queried the choice of a med I was prescribed in the emergency room which turned out to be the wrong medicine and the wrong diagnosis. Thanks to them I went to a specialist and got what I needed. Small businesses are the backbone of our country and Raritan Apothecary watches the backs of their customers.

Hillsborough Pharmacy!! Oh, wait, they're gone. Damn! All my prescriptions moved to Walgreen's, where you have to wait an eternityto pick up or drop-off a prescription. The floor help is pleasant, but the pharmacy? Ugh!

CVS on Triangle Rd. I've never had a bad experience there, and they really do try their best to get you in and out quickly. They're always on top of insurance company policies which is a HUGE help.

I miss Hillsborough Pharmacy (they were lifesavers when I was pregnant and broke my tailbone- they actually had a cushion that made sitting bearable!) but I guess now my vote would go to Walgreens. It's convenient for me when I have to swing by after picking the kiddo up from school down the street (thank you, drive through).
