Jewelry, Handgun Taken in Two Alleged Burglaries
Hillsborough police investigating burglaries reported Jan. 14 and Jan. 16.
Hillsborough police are investigating a pair of burglaries reported the week of Jan. 14 in which residents reported items valued at more than $9,000 in total had been stolen.
An Amwell Road resident reported a daytime burglary to their residence on Jan. 14, noting the thieves took items valued at $4,905 including a handgun.
That report was followed by a burglary reported occurring on Zion Road during the evening of Jan. 16. The resident reported jewelry valued at $4,348 was taken in the incident.
Police are also investigating the theft of a Freightliner truck, valued at $20,000, from a Beekman Lane property. The truck was stolen sometime between Jan. 24 and Jan. 25, police said.

Well if we were allowed to carry them, like in 38 other states, it wouldn't have been there! When that newspaper punished the names of all the gun owners over in New York, they gave the criminals a road map of who to rob!
