Hillsborough Township will celebrate those who have served the United States in the armed forces a day after the rest of the country officially recognized its veterans.

The township's fourth annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held Monday night at 7 at the municipal complex's Garden of Honor. 

The ceremony itself will be held no matter the weather, but it will be moved inside to the multipurpose room in the case of inclement weather. A brief reception of participating veterans and their spouses will be held immediately following the ceremony. 

The township is asking those who attend to bring a canned good to be donated to the township's food bank.
